Unfortunately we are have had to re-arrange some dates on both our Foundation and Core Coach education classes due to changes in availability at the original venue.

We have written to the attendees of both courses already and are in the process of making sure that they can either attend, as per their original booking or work with them to arrange another course.

However we know demand for these courses are/will be high so we want to be open and let you all know about the new dates so if you or a member(s) of your club want to become a coach book now.

The new dates of the courses are:

Foundation Coach

Dates - Sundays 4th and 18th February
Times - 09.30 to 16.00

The cost of each course is £150, but cost should not be prohibitive and attendees may be entitled to apply for a bursary..... see below.

Core Courses
Dates - Sundays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th April
Times - 09.30 to 16.00

The cost of this course is £300, again, cost should not be prohibitive and attendees may be entitled to apply for a bursary.

Demand for these courses will be high, so please do not hold back, we encourage you to book sooner rather than later.

So what about the Bursary
Bursaries funded by the generous support provided by Liverpool Victoria General Insurance Group Limited to the England and Wales Cricket Trust are intended to increase the diversity of learners taking their first step into coaching, gaining a qualification or taking the next step on their coach development journey.

Groups that have been identified to increase the diversity of learners accessing coach development programmes are:

• Potential coaches/coaches that are female
• Potential coaches/coaches from ethnically diverse communities
• Potential coaches/coaches with a disability
• Potential coaches/coaches experiencing financial hardship.
