Girls County Cricket is run at four age groups in the county:
Girls Under 11 Development - Girls Under 13 Development Squads
These squads are designed to provide a development pathway for girls to prepare for competitive county age group cricket. They play a programme of friendly matches against appropriate opposition during the summer and the opportunity to tour aswell. They will experience a range of opportunity and have meaningful experiences whilst they build a love for the game.
Girls Under 15 - Girls Under 18 Squads
At these age groups, they are introduced to competition and take part in official ECB fixtures which include a T20 and One Day Competition for both the U15 and U18 squads respectively. These age groups experience competition but will still have a holistic player development focus.
The winter coaching aims to provide a programme of specific age related coaching as well as opportunities for specialist sessions during this time.
