Volunteers

Volunteering in cricket is hugely rewarding. Whether you are just starting out, or having been volunteering for years, here you can find all the support and information you need.

Volunteers make a huge difference to the provision and quality of cricket in the County. Cambridgeshire Cricket is committed to recruiting and retaining volunteers to ensure the long-term sustainability of clubs and organisations.

Even for those who don’t want to play the game, there are many opportunities to get involved within the game, including the following roles:

  • Coach
  • Officiating (Umpiring & Scoring)
  • Grounds
  • Club Administrators
  • Safeguarding*
  • Young Leaders

If you would like to get involved in volunteering, we would love to hear from you and will do our best to find you a rewarding opportunity. It’s a fantastic way to meet new people, support your community as well as enhance your CV.

The ECB’s volunteering website can be viewed HERE. You can access a whole new range of videos, posters, fliers and case studies which can be used to support the recruitment and retention of volunteers within clubs.

Further pages on volunteering and volunteers courses will be added to this site soon. Please contact Neil Liversedge (neil.liversedge@cambscricket.org.uk) for all volunteering enquiries
