The objective of the Player Support Fund is to ensure that financial constraints are not a barrier to any young cricketer participating in the Talent Pathway programme. This includes County Age Group (CAG), Talent Development Centre (TDC), and MCC Foundation programmes. 

• Parents/Guardians will be able to self-declare through an application form highlighting that they wish to be considered for some support for their child(ren). 

• All applications will be considered and normally followed up with a short interview to understand the applicant`s circumstances and clarify areas for support. 

• All applications will be made and dealt with in the strictest of confidence. 

• Applications for assistance will be reviewed by the Player Support Fund committee. 

• Any decisions made by the committee will be kept individually confidential although we will publish anonymised information for monitoring and analysis purposes. 

• Any information supplied by any applicant will be kept securely and destroyed at the end of the season/programme to which the funding applies. Information provided on the application form will only be used for consideration of financial assistance. 

• Decisions are based on information provided in the application and through any follow-up conversations. The size of award will be based on the financial need of the individual applicant. 
• If your child attends a fee-paying school, it is very unlikely they will be granted any financial support from Cambridgeshire Cricket unless they are on a significant bursary. If they are on a bursary, a letter from the school confirming the size of the bursary will need to be provided. 
• • The committee reserves the right to refuse applications for assistance. 
  • Any allocated funds will be paid to the applicant and are to be used for fees payable under the Talent Pathway programmes or to cover travel or other costs associated with Talent Pathway participation. 
  • Allocated funds may subsequently be repayable if the application contained inaccurate or misleading information.
