Overview
Women’s and Girls’ cricket continues to grow and develop in Cambridgeshire as we endeavour to make cricket a game for all.
We are working with women and girls at clubs, schools, social groups and more to ensure that cricket is increasingly accessible and that all voices are heard as we enhance our offer year on year. We want all aspects of cricket to be open to everyone and gender to play no role in anyone’s ability to participate, be that umpiring, scoring, supporting, volunteering, playing, or otherwise engaging with the game.
In 2026 we are offering the following:
- Maiden Girls Cricket Leagues and Cup Competition
- Cambridgeshire Women’s Cricket Leagues and Cup Competition
- Club Softball-to-Hardball Transition Sessions
- Primary School Girls Cricket Support Sessions
- Secondary School Girls Cricket Support Sessions
- Secondary School Softball-to-Hardball Transition Sessions
- Dynamos Girls Primary School Competitions
- Secondary School Girls Indoor and Outdoor Softball Competitions
- Knight-Stokes Cup (Girls Secondary Hardball Competition)
- Female-only Umpiring Course
- Female-only Coaching Courses
- MetroBank Coaching Girls Cricket CPD and Support
And more!
We continue to offer club and school support to anyone wanting to run female cricket or needing support to grow and/or sustain their current offer.
