What a day! We hosted a Fast Bowling Masterclass led by ex-Notts bowler and renowned coach Andy Pick.
Andy helped coaches from around Cambs to maintain and improve their fast bowling knowledge so they can continue to run brilliant sessions back at their clubs.
Just brilliant fun!

The session fits in with our desire to help coaches from Clubs within Cambridgeshire to continue to develop their skills so that they can continue delivering brilliant sessions to the young people back at their clubs.

Andy delivered the session with the know how, humour and an obvious love of fast bowling.

Meet Beth and Paul, over the last two years both had that feeling that they could become coaches so signed up to courses ran by Cambridgeshire Cricket to become qualified ECB Coaches and then took the skills they had learned to deliver something special, so much so that Beth won Young Coach of the Year and Paul won Coach of the Year at the Cricket Collective Awards for 2025.

We know there are people in Clubs with bags of potential to follow in both Beth and Paul's shoes, whether they are current or recently retired players, parents of junior cricketers full of enthusiasm.
