With the exciting new era of Women’s County cricket kicking off in 2025, Cambridgeshire Women continues to give opportunity for the best players to challenge themselves at county level. Having been placed in Division 1 of Tier 3, this provides a high level of competition and the opportunity to test ourselves against the best National Counties in the country, week in week out. Within this new structure and Division 1 status, we will compete in three separate competitions in 2025. The Vitality T20 Blast, Metro Bank One Day Cup and the professional competition, the Vitality T20 Knockout Cup. Our fixtures take us from Northumberland to Devon and the unique, potential opportunity to face Tier 1 and 2 counties in the T20 Knockout Cup throughout the month of May.

Our squad is largely made up of former or current Cambridgeshire pathway players with recruitment from outside of the county possible where appropriate. The ambition is to continue making Cambridgeshire a leader for women’s cricket and providing opportunity for players to be their best.

With our home fixtures being played at The University of Cambridge Cricket Ground, Fenners and Sawston and Babraham Cricket Club, we’re proud to host matches at the best facilities and appreciate the support these venues provide.
