Coaches
In Cambridgeshire we totally subscribe to the ECB Coaching ethos that exceptional coaches will inspire players and help to provide a legacy for the game which which last long into the future.
Our aim is to be engaged in delivering high quality tutoring to allow participants at all of our Coach Development Courses or CPD events to receive the quality education to allow them to deliver better coaching to their players.
We work continuously to support a high standard of delivery by providing Coach Education Courses and Skills Development workshops, to those working with County Age Groups and support the on-going development to coaches who are working with clubs.
Cambridgeshire Cricket Board also has a professional Workforce Plan in place to make sure all areas of the Coaching (professional and volunteer) workforce are continually developed appropriately to ensure safe and excellent service can be delivered, tailored to specific areas of need in the cricketing community in Cambridgeshire.
We are lucky in Cambridgeshire that we possess a large number of coaches and coach developers who work with our clubs and their coaches throughout the year.
These events include CAG and MCC Foundation Hub Observations/Coaching, Early Engagement Programme Observations/Coaching, Club Coach Development Plans, Schools Coaching (Primary & Secondary School), Disability Coaching and more.
