Cambridgeshire Cricket Ltd announce a new three-year partnership with Maiden Cricket

Cambridgeshire Cricket Ltd is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Maiden Cricket Clothing Limited.

This collaboration is rooted in a shared commitment to ensure women and girls feel supported, included and integral to the cricket community. As part of the partnership, the Cambridgeshire Girls’ League will be rebranded as the Cambridgeshire Maiden Cricket Girls’ League, reflecting a joint ambition to grow participation and raise the profile of the girls’ game across clubs, schools and communities.

Maiden Cricket will also sponsor the Women’s & Girls’ Development category at the Winter Wonders Awards, reinforcing both organisations’ commitment to championing those driving the game forward.

The partnership aligns closely with Maiden Cricket’s ethos- designing kit specifically for female players. By prioritising fit, comfort and performance, their approach helps players feel confident and supported on the field.
Together, both organisations aim to remove barriers to participation and create an environment where every female cricketer feels they belong.

Russell Doel Director & Head of Cricket Operations at Cambridgeshire Cricket, said: “We are really excited about this partnership. Maiden’s dedication to the women’s and girls’ game aligns perfectly with our vision to grow participation, enhance player experience and ensure everyone feels valued and included.”

Honor Black, Founder of Maiden Cricket, added: “Partnerships like this are key to building confidence, growing the game and creating real progress at grassroots level. We’re excited to support and develop cricket across the region.”

Together, Cambridgeshire Cricket and Maiden Cricket are working to drive meaningful change in the women’s and girls’ game.
