Our 2025 Year 5/ 6 Dynamos Schools Competitions have now been completed and we are pleased to be able to share details on our winning teams
On Friday 23rd May we hosted our first competition at Bottisham Village College with 5 teams in attendance. Congratulations to our winning team from Bottisham Primary School (pictured left) and our runners up The Grove (pictured right). Our thanks go to Bottisham Village College for hosting and providing young leaders to help run this competition
Our next competition took place at Caldecote on Friday 6th June with 6 schools taking part. On a rare rain affected day this summer, Histon & Impington Brook (pictured left) finished the competition as the winners with William Westley runners up (pictured right). Thank you to Cambridge St Giles CC for hosting us at this competition
On Wednesday 11th June our largest competition of the summer took place at Foxton with 13 teams participating. William Westley finished the day as champions with Thriplow Primary School as runners up
Our competitions at March Town Cricket Club took place on Wednesday 18th June with a mixed teams and girls’ only team competition. 10 teams took part in the mixed competition with Ely St John’s ending the day as winners with Cavalry Primary School finishing as runners up following a very close final. The girls’ only competition was won by Thomas Eaton Primary School. Thank you to March Town Cricket Club for hosting us and to Neale Wade Academy for providing young leaders for this event
Our final Y5/6 competition of the summer took place at Latham Road Sports ground on Friday 20th June. This girls’ only event saw the University of Cambridge Primary School end as the victors with St Faith’s finishing as runners up. Thank you to St Faith’s for allowing us to use their sports ground for this competition
