Cambridgeshire Womens Squad Open Trial

Cambridgeshire is pleased to be placed in Division 1 of Tier 3 within the new Women`s County Cricket structure seeing us compete all around the Country against the strongest National County sides and in the Vitality T20 County Cup. We are inviting players, who are aged 16 or over, to attend an open trial ahead of selection for the squad. Details below:

Date: Sunday 8th December

Time: 3:30 – 6:00pm

Venue: The Perse Sports Centre, Long Road, Cambridge, CB2 8PP. For best accuracy, use: What3Words /// elbow.risks.begins

 

Why Attend?

  • An opportunity to play senior county cricket at a high level across the country

Who Can Attend?

  • Any female cricketer aged 16 or over
  • Experience of Senior, Regional or Pathway County Cricket is desirable
  • Players who believe they have the ambition, commitment and determination to compete at Senior County level
  • Players who buy into the Cambridgeshire philosophy and are committed to improving themselves and others

 

What to Expect?

  • At the trial, an opportunity to showcase your skills, meet likeminded female players and meet the Cambridgeshire Coaching Staff. To ask questions about the process, winter and summer programmes that selected players will be welcomed into.
  • At Cambridgeshire, dedicated staff and officials who are committed to creating a high performance environment and helping people reach their full potential. A ‘high challenge, high support’ environment where a culture of winning becomes a habit but not at the expense of engaging and supportive surroundings.
